What a wonderful week!

Wow! This has been a big week for Web! His Christening was last weekend and what a fun weekend it was. People came from far and wide for the little fella! Our best college friends came for the celebration (except for the Ridlehoovers who we missed very much!). Web's GiGi, PopPop, Nana, Uncle Bolton and Uncle Tad all made the trip as well. Uncle Pete, Aunt Bonny, Aunt Beth and Deann also came for the weekend. It was so much fun and so nice to see everyone (although we wish we could've had more time to spend with everybody!).
We took the kids to the park, had a grown up night out, and did lots of preparations leading up to the big day.

Web was so good at the church. He was absolutely adorable and of course showed off for everyone. He even wanted to take a bath! He is very lucky to have 3 wonderful Godparents, Bolton, Tad and Whitney.
The reception was so nice and fun. The weather was perfect and location was beautiful. It was so nice to have so many people there for his special day! We tried to get pictures of the kids all together but it was a challenge!

Trying lots of new things

Our sweet boy is growing before our eyes! He is almost 19 pounds now. He had his first "real bath" in the grown up tub last night. He LOVED it! Thought it was an all new playtime! He talks all the time now. Still trying to get him to say mama! He has started passing things from one hand to another and has even fed himself puffs! He got to see Tuck and Will. That was exciting. Will was so sweet and said "Baby... awww baby" and reached out and touched his hand. He and Tuck stared at each other a lot and Web even got a huge smile from Tuck! They are going to be good buddies!

Words and walks!

Web had a big weekend of adventures! Saturday he went to his first Farmers Market. He loved riding around and looking at everyone.

Sunday he decided that he was tired of just cooing and laughing and thought he would try the real thing. Out of the blue he started saying da da da da da and several other things of that nature. He gets very proud of himself and really loves it when you talk back! Sunday morning we went to Church, the nursery was not open so he came into the grown up church with us. Needless to say he thought that was the appropriate time to talk to. Sunday afternoon we went for a family walk around Fairfield lake. Web loved looking around at everything for a short time but then decided that it was nap time. So mommy and daddy got exercise while he caught up on some zzz's. Must be nice to sleep anywhere!

It's been a long time!

Sorry it has been so long! Web is keeping us so busy I haven't updated lately! Web is almost 7 months old! We can't believe he's that old already. He's growing and changing like crazy. We are so proud of the little guy! Web had his 6 month appointment (almost a month ago now!) and is doing great. He's progressing just like he should and has pretty much outgrown his preemie status! He weighed 17 lbs 1 oz and was 25 and a half inches long. Of course he's even bigger than that now.

Web's been having a great time since we last wrote. He had a great visit here with his GG, PopPop and Uncle Bolton. Then just a week later we went on a road trip and saw everyone on his Daddy's side of the family. It was so nice to see everyone and they couldn't believe how big he is!

Web is rolling over all the time. Thats his favorite mode of transportation right now. Take your eyes off of him for a second and he's all the way across the room. He is also sitting up on his own a little. He can stay there for a while but tips over easily when he tries to reach for something. Considering how busy he always is and how much he loves his toys, thats pretty often. He is also attempting to crawl. Not quite there yet but he really wants to!

He is still struggling with his teething. The older post I wrote about a tooth breaking through was a false alarm. We really thought it had but turns out it was a cyst and went away. So we're STILL waiting. He puts everything he can get his hands on in his mouth so we are keeping our fingers crossed!

Web has moved onto Stage 2 food now. He loves it and has even tried macaroni and cheese! He tried puffs but didn't know what to think. Don't think he's quite ready yet!

We continue to fall more and more in love with this sweet boy everyday. We are so blessed to have such a good, sweet baby. He smiles constantly and can light up a room. We look forward to everyday with this little boy and with our family!

He loves to jump!

Web had a great week and weekend last week. He finally made it through the green beans and then perfected carrots. Now we've moved on to sweet potatoes. He tried the jumper thing last week for the first time and LOVED it. So much he can't get enough and even jumped himself until he passed out in it the other day!

We had a great visit with GG and PopPop over the weekend. Web showed off all weekend of course and they fell even more in love with his sweet personality. They even let mommy and daddy go on a date which was much appreciated.

Web's friend Emma was born today! We are so excited. There were a few scary moments today but the result was a beautiful, healthy baby girl. We cannot wait to meet her this weekend. She is a very lucky girl and has wonderful parents.

We can't believe Web will be 6 months old this week! Wow! It has flown by!

Easter

We had a good Easter with our sweet boy. It is amazing what blessings we have and how Web makes us appreciate each and every one so much more. He is getting so big and is such a happy boy. He LOVES attention and is quite the little flirt.

Last week he tried peas. That went well. This week he is trying green beans which he does not seem to be the biggest fan of. We are sticking with it though.

Bolton came up to visit for the weekend. We made the most of his visit while we could, before he makes his big move to New Orleans. We are going to miss him so much! Web went to an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday and saw an Easter bunny there. Then he went to a petting zoo on Sunday (although he has a mean mommy that wouldn't actually let him near any of the animals), he enjoyed seeing all of the big kids play with the animals. He saw an Easter Bunny there as well.

It was a great holiday with the little fella and we are so very blessed in so many ways! Happy Easter!

Web met his friends!

Web spent an exciting weekend hanging out with and meeting all of his friends. We also got way too cute pictures taken of Web, Andrew and McRea. It was McRea's first birthday and Web's very first birthday party.
We went to Columbia Thursday night and spent time with Uncle Bolton. Friday our big event was getting the pictures taken. It was also Leslie's birthday. Leslie and Jeff met Erik, Whitney and I at the Governors mansion for photos. The kids all did great. That night we went out for Leslie's birthday and it was fun that we actually got to be together for a birthday.
Saturday was the birthday party and the reason we were all together. We were all very disappointed because Mandy, Thom and Ford were supposed to come but little Ford got sick. At the party Web got to meet Lauren's sweet boys, Will and Tuck. Will was as usual SO adorable. Tuck is a very cute, sweet little guy and he and Web will be great friends since they are closest to each other in age. The party was lots of fun, although McRea, Andrew and Web slept through part of it.

It was so much fun to have all the kids together and for Web to have finally met all his friends!

Breaking News!

Web's first tooth is breaking through. I can't believe it. He has been somewhat fussy and drooling like a mad man. Of course since he does things his own way, like coming 5 weeks early, its a bottom side tooth. Just a short little update. Will give a good update with pictures after this weekend with all of our friends and all the babies!

Web continues to amaze us everyday. He is a very happy little boy and his smiles and laughs overjoy us. He is doing great and his daddy swears he will be walking any day. He loves to stand. He tried vegetables for the first time yesterday. We started with squash. He actually seemed to like it and just kept on eating like he did not even know he got anything different. Lets hope he likes vegetables better than his daddy! He is almost 15.5 pounds now. We can't believe how big he's getting! This week he gets to see some live bunnies and have his picture taken!

The Templetons have had a very big week and weekend! Web did get sick last week and the Dr. confirmed he had a virus but fought it off very well! We left Thursday and went and saw the Webster side of the family for a short visit. The dogs were staying with them, but they got sick too. We had to take them to the vet and leave GG and PopPop with medicine asssignments. Friday we got up early and left for a NC tour! We went and saw Grandma and Grandpa T in Pilot Mountain, as well as Aunt Kathy, Uncle Pete and Erik's cousin Logan. Then we went to see Grandma Reece in Mt. Airy. It was great fun for everyone to see how how he's grown. They couldn't belive it.

Next we went to Greensboro for the big event of the weekend, Roman's birthday. His birthday was actually Thursday but we celebrated Saturday. Roman and his friends went to a Bounce house place on Saturday morning. Then we all met up at his house for cake and presents. Web couldn't keep his eyes off the kids and was very jealous of all their toys. I can just see him following Roman around next year driving him crazy! He loved spending time with his Nana, Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Tad. They spoiled him!

It was a very good weekend and Web loved seeing everyone. He will sleep well this week!

Lots of Big Happenings!

Well, Web had another big week. He took his first real bath where he sat in the water. He seemed to enjoy it. Although its still not his favorite thing, bathetic is definitely improving. Web also went out to dinner for the first time Saturday night with our friends Jason and Caroline. He did great. He did however protest sleep ALL day Saturday so by dinner time he was definitely sleepy. The other big happening was he played in his "exersaucer" for the first time. He loved it. He loves standing anyway and he felt like such a bog boy in it. Wow, this blogging thing really helps me realize how much can change in just a week.

Now Web is looking forward to a big visit to his GG and PopPop, Grandma Reece, Grandma and Grandpa T, Nana, and Aunt Jennifer, Uncle Tad, and his sweet cousin Roman! We can't believe Roman is turning 6! It will be another big week for the Templetons!

Big week!

We've had a very big week! Mommy went back to work :(! All went well but I sure missed the little guy. He rolled over 3 times in a row one day. He started solid foods once a day and we managed to get his laugh on audio and video recording. He is growing so much, so fast and literally changes everyday. I have had a cold and we thought he was getting it too, we took him to the Doctor and luckily it is just in his sinuses, not his chest, but he weighed 14 lbs, 9.5oz!

Greetings everyone! We have been trying to figure out a good way to keep you up to date on the latest Web happenings.  We figured what better way than a blog. He is truly the joy of our lives. Every day he amazes us in a new way! I never thought it would be possible but he keeps getting cuter and cuter. He is 4 months old now, and although he arrived early he is catching up perfectly. He smiles all the time and giggles a lot too. Today I got the second big belly laugh out of him and it was the greatest sound I've ever heard. We are going to update this frequently with stories and pictures so make sure you come back!
